"Every student can learn, just not on the same day, or in the same way."
-George Evans
I have always appreciated the sentiment, "Who dares to teach must never cease to learn," and whether I am facilitating learning with students in a classroom or online, colleagues in workshops, or mentees in one-on-one relationships, I relish my own learning that takes place alongside those I teach.
On this page you can view my Teaching Philosophy and Curriculum Vitae, as well as course syllabi and descriptions of workshops I have developed and taught. As a mentor, I believe in setting goals and strategies based on the mentee's individual process, so each mentorship interaction is unique. I would be happy to discuss this more in-depth with you over a coffee, a walk, or a meal!
I am also developing a page with resources for new (and experienced) interpreters who want to work on some "at home" professional development. Click here to view that page, and please fee free to pass along any contributions you feel may benefit our field.
